Thanks filled Sundays

- I think it is so funny that Grace prefers Indian curried fish soup over American beef chili!

- I'm thankful Matthew is gaining more control of his hands. He has been exhibiting it as he tries to manuever his wubanub pacifier into the right position.

- I'm thankful that Grace is becoming more imaginative in her play. This week she thought it was fun to get a pair of brightly colored tights out of her drawer, pull them over her head and then walk around with her hands in the air saying, "Where's Grace?"!

- I love the feel Matthew's "peach fuzz" hair against my cheek.

- I'm thankful Grace likes her baby brother, most of the time. When visiting the Children's Museum this week, she actually saved a place for him next to her in a little toy truck (see below...grandma Lisa is holding Matthew in place)!

- I'm thankful for all the wonderful developmental steps Grace is making! One day Jeff opened the fridge and Grace pointed to the salsa bottle and said "Daddy's chip bottle"...Jeff's favorite snack is chips &salsa!

- Matthew is thankful he discovered his feet this week. Now he has something he can play with that won't ever fall out of his reach!

- I'm thankful my daughter likes to clean (when she feels like it). I discovered miscellaneous dirt tracked across the kitchen one morning and before I figured out where it came from, she arrived with her toy vacuum to clean it up! If only it really worked!

  1. If I were you, I'd be thankful that my husband was wielding a vacuum! That doesn't happen much at my house. ;)
