- I'm thankful for running water and soap. One morning this week I had just started bathing Matthew in the kitchen sink when I turned away for a second and then turned back to find a tiny fountain shooting out of the sink and onto the kitchen floor...I just had to laugh! Next time I will definitely remember to take the appropriate precautions!
- Today Grace heard the song "Amazing Grace" sung for the first time. As it was being sung she said "Grace's song!"
- I love how determined or persistant toddlers can be when they want something (even if at times it can be annoying). Today at church in the kid's "Awesome Worship" service, the priest giving the sermon had a stuffed gerbil that talked as a prop. As soon as Grace saw the stuffed animal, you could see the wheels turning in her head about how she could get her hands on it. The priest was actually overwhelmed by the response the kids had for the animal. Grace patiently waited until the animal was done being used as a prop and then grabbed it with both her hands. Before the sermon was over, she was sitting in the priest's lap with the animal in her hands!
