Next week

- Grace finally has enough hair for piggy tails!

- Matthew went his first day without pooping...which I classify as constipation given his midnight waking and writhing which seemed to be gas pains. The next day he made up for it with 3 dirty diapers!

- No one can make Matthew laugh better than Grace! It's the best sound ever hearing the two of them giggle at each other!

- Matthew said his first word...Mama! Unfortunately it was said when he was mad (sporting a huge frown) because he wanted me to hold him.

- Grace wants to be helpful all the time.  Here are several examples:
1) she puts Matthew's dirty clothes in his laundry basket
2) she offered to put Matthew's medicine away for me
3) she brings toys to Matthew that she thinks he'll like
4) she occasionaly brings dirty dishes from the table to the kitchen sink (even though she shouldn't because they are breakable)
5) she helps put dirty clothes in the laundry machine

- As Matthew gains more control over his arms and hands, he loves exploring different textures.   At the library's story time this week, I had both kids in my lap.   Matthew decided it would be fun to tap Grace's shoulder and play with/pet/pull/eat her hair.  Amazingly, Grace's attention to the story was not broken!

- Grace's latest stalling technique for bedtime was wanting to clean her room!  How can you say no to that?!

- When Jeff asked Grace why she was in time out, she asked, "Why did the chicken cross the road?"
