Bringing a little Grace to Texas

The drive home to Houston was easy. Grace was well behaved and only asked us to pull over twice for a diaper change and some food.

We stopped at the Texas information center just past the border to ask how to get back to the “Welcome to Texas sign”. We didn’t want to pull off on the main highway, but wanted to get on the country road instead and couldn’t figure out how to do that. Jeff explained to the cowboy at the desk that we were carrying the newest resident of the great state of Texas in the car and that it was important to his wife that we take a picture at the welcome sign. With a look of complete understanding and state pride, the cowboy said okay and proceeded to give the directions.

Unfortunately, you can't see Grace's face in this photo, but we didn't want to continue with the photo shoot until it was perfect because it was too cold and windy for our supermodel!
