Goodbye Memaw

After a 3 1/2 year battle with cancer, Jeff's mom, Marilyn, passed away on Friday, September 21st. She will be missed on this earth, but I am certain she is receiving a grand reception in heaven! She was a fantastic daughter, wife, mom, mother-in-law and grandmother.

Aug 2012, Matthew's baptism and Marilyn's last big outing.  I cried when I saw that Marilyn had arrived for his baptism, knowing that it would probably be our last family gathering with her.  Matthew must have known that it was special too, because after he was baptized he cuddled with her in her arms for a long time which is very uncharacteristic for him.

 

 

We love you Memaw and will miss you, but are so thankful for all of the wonderful memories you have left behind.
