- When fixing breakfast this morning, I was shocked to find Matthew under the breakfast table playing with a huge dying roach (it was on its back, but the legs were still moving). I think I scared him when I yanked him away from the roach, but at least he didn't try to eat it!
- On Labor Day, Jeff had to go in to work, but the kids made up for my not having help on a holiday when I was attacked by both of them at the same time with big wet kisses on both my cheeks when I was on the floor playing with them! It is definitely one of the best moments I've had being a mom!
- Matthew's right eye is finally clear of eye "gook" (as Grace calls it) after having bravely endured a short proceedure from the ophthamologist to clear it. He is sooo handsome now when he wakes up with two clean eyes in the morning!
