Grace has said lots of great things this week worth remembering:
- "Toilet paper for your nose" (pointing to a box of kleenex tissue)
- "Yes please, Christi.". "Hi Jeffy!". (She's been testing out using our first names.)
- "zooibit!" (zoo exhibit)
- "angel's house" (what she called a painting of our church's chapel where we were married.)
- "The thunder scared my ear!"
- "Paella and friends!" (what she says now anytime we eat paella since Daddy invited friends over the last time he made it.)
- I survived our first visit to the pool with both kids by myself! Luckily, Matthew made it easy by snoozing in his car seat/stroller the first 30 minutes.
- I bathed both kids in the bath tub together for the first time. I've already banned Grace from dumping cups of water over Matthew's head.
- Matthew has discovered how to make cool sounds by strumming his lips with his fingers while he hums.
- Matthew got in the pool for the first time. He was incredibly indifferent about it...even put his face in the water with no fuss!
- Matthew has been teething and not sleeping quite a bit the last several weeks. I don't remember going through this stage with Grace. I so appreciate sleep!
- Grace can now recited our prayer before meals by herself. See the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5M1A9yRu6Pk&feature=youtube_gdata_player
