- Matthew had his first bites of solid food (rice cereal) this week! He's already learned within 1 week that solid food is good! He has learned how to grunt to tell me he wants more, open his mouth, and swallow!
- What a difference a week made with Music class! Last week Grace was timid and afraid I was going to leave her some place strange. This week she went up and hugged the teacher before class started! She also took control of the "microphone" (a wooden toy) and shared it with Matthew and another boy who was shy about singing into it! I was so proud to see her care for other kids in the room! She also snuggled with one of her favorite boys in the class during the lullabye. I think they have a mutual crush!
- Okay, so not every week is bright and cheerie. This week I've been struggling with getting enough sleep (Matthew's been waking again at night) and thus my patience has been drained before some days even start. Plus, Jeff was out of town Friday-Sunday to visit our new nephew. I've been saying lots of prayers for patience this week! Thankfully my parents came to help a lot when Jeff was gone.
- Grace has had a huge appetite for breakfast these days. One morning she wanted more banana and emphasized this by saying, "I need more banononos!"
- This Sunday, Matthew was purring/humming while nursing. It was so cute that I let him feed a little longer than usual.
- Grace sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star all the way through by herself after dinner Sunday night!
-Matthew has his first ear infection. Luckily we caught it early before he ran a fever. This may explain the restlest nights!
- Grace woke from her nap Tuesday with a slight fever. When I asked her if she wanted anything to eat, she said, "chocolate!". So wise to already know that chocolate makes everything better!
- At the library's storytime this week, Grace held up a book at the same time the librarian held up a book to share with all the kids! (see pic below)
