No more pacifiers!

I was worried about how we were going to get Grace to stop using her pacifiers now that she is 16 months old, but thankfully the solution came as the result of Grace getting sick.  Unfortunately she contracted a virus called hand-foot-mouth disease that lasted 5+ days and caused terrible blisters in her mouth, on the palms of her hands and feet and in the diaper region as well as a fever and loss of appetite.  The only good thing that came out of this episode was that it hurt for Grace to use her pacifiers, so she learned how to live without them during this week-long illness.  I decided to hide all of the pacifiers and to my delight she never asked for them again!
